There again:
1. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea - Jules VerneWell, now although the period was subdued, it was a highly satisfying one due to the the first book on the list. This was the first novel of my life, which I read in Class II/III and in Hindi! The title was 'Samudri Duniya ki Romanchkari Yatra' :D
2. The Hound of the Baskervilles - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
3. Letters from a Father to his Daughter - Jawahar Lal Nehru
4. The Intrusion and Other Stories - Shashi Deshpande
5. The Algebra of Infinite Justice - Arundhati Roy
6. The Ugly Duckling! :)
And of late, I've hopped about many books at a time, which makes me finish none. I should stop this practice - not working for me. Nope, not at all.
